needed latch for rear tire carrier h2
 

new member, recently purchased 03 H2, and also purchased rear tire carrier, I need the latch that attaches to bumper to lock swing arm, I see listed gm part over $300, only paid 150 for entire carrier, any help appreciated

$150 for the entire carrier is insanely cheap and considering it's all technically one piece that's probably why they sold it to you so cheap because it's missing the latch.

it was chrome and rusted so I will sand blast and paint black, got a rim and tire (little tread) all included, must be a way I can rig something up and mount as latch, any ideas?

not sure, let me see if I run across the oem latch anywhere. I'll let you know.
