Default Need some help on this

I am so ridiculously stressed out right now over this whole thing I'm trying to do. I've been redoing the interior of my h2 for the past few weeks, and I decided its time for a new stereo in my dash. I decided I want a single din radio with a screen that comes out and flips up.
This is where the trouble starts, the space is a double din so I dont know what I would put in the other space?
I've done a lot of research online but I dont know exactly what wiring harnesses I need?
Has anyone installed a single din flip up screen successfully?
Thanks I need to get this done so i can put my car back together!

I'm a beginner at car mods, which i understand is probably not the best thing to start on an H2. If any one can guide me step by step through this process I'll give you any item you want from PyleAudio.com. I work for the company, and get a big discount and I'll pick up the rest of it so you get it for free. (I'm very stressed on getting this done) THank you everyone.

You will need to get a wiring harness from the manufacturer of the radio (do not know what brand and model you have) their are also some after market harness to be had, I would look into one that you will be able to use the steering wheel controls also.

put a CB in the other space would come in handy.

Post your radio with link and also what year H2, with just general information people will not be able to help much.

I have a 2003 H2. I haven't decided what brand or what model deck to get, I'm looking for suggestions on that too? I'd like one that has a 7" display, comes out and flips up (I think it looks cool), and can play CD/Dvd and is fully function touch screen. Thanks

X2... The motorized screen is just one more thing that can break. The 7" screens are a perfect fit in the truck. I'll post of pic of the new kenwood dnx9140 mounted in the dash later on.

The full touch screen Alpine would be the way to go! If you want the motorized screen then I would order the kit where the single is on the top and the bottom is a cd holder or a cubby hole for stuff. I did that to one of my trucks. Best buy road shop had the rack thing that fits it.

4 hour to install my kenwood, including running the gps to the roof, lines to the back for subs to be installed later, rear view cam, dedicated HU power from battery, all integration adapters, steering wheel controls, etc...

Bflorin - That is a great looking set up!!!

How well does the GPS function? Did you have NAV before you installed the new system? Is it a hard drive system?
