Need new rear brake rotors
 

Today wile rotating the wheels I realized the rear rotors are all rusted and cracked . ( I will post photos later )

I found the OEM in Amazon for $44 however I would like to know if any aftermarket brand is a best choice .

The reason this are rusted is for pulling the jetski from the ramp

I bought some slotted discs from an auto parts store and they weren't expensive. They really improved the braking so I did the front as well.

I am in the same boat, after replacing all 10 steel brake lines with stainless ones and replacing the 6 OE rubber ones with Russell 6 piece braided stainless kit I also noticed my rotors (back) are toast looks like me inboard pads haven't touched the rotors for years!

I am going to replace all with 4 new rotors (slotted or drilled) and EBC pads. Found some smoking deals from $325 on up^

It's a good idea to check the slider bolts AT LEAST once a year. Clean and lube them, make sure the actually slide. When you do the rears, remember to do the parking brake drums.

Anyone who wheels their truck thru mud or wet sand should not be using drilled or slotted rotors. Mud will clog up the slots and holes which will wear the pads much faster than normal.

Never thought of that..

My steel lines were ugly! (rusty, one burst) the 6 new braided lines made a nice difference in pedal feel. On rigs as heavy as ours you can actually feel the OE rubber lines expanding if you grasp them in your hand have someone work the brake pedal.
