need a new mirror HELP
 

hey guys i recently bought a 2007 h3 and took it to the automatic car wash and my passenger side mirror broke off. i am looking to find a new one but the owner of the car wash wont pay for a brand new one. after looking on ebay and contacting my local dealer i purchased one on ebay. PROBLEM after ordering it i checked back with dealership this guy tells me its not the right one. so my question is the mirrors made before vin #5GTDN13E978193057 a different than the ones after that #. what is the difference? please someone help me out.

Speaking of mirrors, my drivers side mirror automatically moves in and out with the touch of a button, but the passengers side doesnt. How hard is this to fix?

Not shure what the differance is but i know in 2008 GM redesigned the outside mirrors. I ran into the same problem when my wife took mine off VIA telephone pole.

I don't know what you found price wise but this site has reasonable prices on oem parts.
