My headrest DVD players seem to have a mind of their own! When you hit the power button and try to power them on, it only works about 1/2 of the time. It can be fixed by turning the ignition key off and then back on, but that can be a pain sometimes. It seems like 1/2 of the time when my son is in the backseat and I'm pulling out of the driveway, he has to say....."HEY, THE DVD PLAYER WON'T COME ON". So, I have to stop, turn the ignition key off and restart the H3. When I do this, they turn on for him and work just fine.

Any help would be appreciated!

who hooked them up for you it sounds like they tapped into the wrong power supply it could be hooked to something like the interior lights that go off after so many seconds or some crazy thing like that

 

bought it used from a one owner....he says they came with the vehicle when he bought it brand new, dealer installed I assume since it does not show the DVD option on the window sticker. I will give that a try and tell the kid not to hit the power button until we're rolling down the road a bit. Thanks for the suggestion!
