Need advice on buying an H3
 

New member here looking at buying a used H3 and I need some advice, I don't really know much about H3's so pardon my ignorance. What year(s) should I avoid and should I stay away from a high mileage(150k miles) H3 or higher?

I'm not going to be doing any off roading FWIW... I just need a good daily driver that will last me at least 5-10 years and looks mean. I already own two gas guzzling slobs(BMW X5 50i-400hp...12.3mpg & BMW X5M-700hp...9mpg) so gas won't be an issue

I'm looking for an inline-5 engine(don't need another V8) that will have enough power/torque to get me though deep snow as I live in NYC

I have a budget around $9-$10k... all models in that price range have approximately between 100-160k miles, how many miles will I get out of this engine?

I recently bought a hummer h3 it's my car bought it at a used car dealer for $13000, she only had 115000 miles buts it's the hummer h3x it's luxury type so really nice itsite an inline 5. $50 fills the whole tank and it's last me almost 2 weeks to empty, and I drive it somewhat long distance 30 to 40 min drives. I honestly love it and no lie I get complimentsome all the time.

Number 1 best thing you can do for yourself is join some hummer forums and read, read ,read lol.

Same as any vehicle - buy the newest / lowest mileage / best condition vehicle you can find - if it were me I'd increase the budget.
