Default N/a motor 6.5

Would head work 6.5 make a slight difference for some extra power? I'm just looking find some ponies but within reason .
I'm trying to pounder the heartthrob cat back? Or maybe a cam shaft..
Basicly I'm wondering if anyone's done things that was semi noticeable for power gain.
I thought about turbo but really have little knowledge on that.. Or if one could be mounted somewhere else .
I'm just looking for some "uphill" horsepower ..

The 6.5 just isn't a performance motor. It is hard to get much in the way of HP boosts out of it.

Sadly I figured, it's not even that I'm looking for a wheel spinner. Just that little extra,
Hell even in winter when it's cool air I'm ok with THAT power, seems soon as heat shows power goes down, in the N/A motor...
And I read adding a turbo to a NA motor isn't a good idea due to the 21 compression as compared to the turbo motors at 18.

I can cruise down the highway at 65 mph in my 6.5 NA. It is about 55 mph for my 6.2 NA. I am ok with the 65 mph. You are correct in that the power starts dropping as soon as the heat index rises.
