What blue tooth adapter did you get and where?

 

I am really actually not happy with the Avic z3. Its a 2000.00 MSRP unit yet it seems the OS has not been updated since 2000. Menus are slow and slugish ESP if you use the IPOD interface and the bluetooth is bad for phone calls is the quality of sound and echo.

I recently tested out the Pioneer Avic-F900BT. OMG it has a 1100.00 MSRP and I have been staying away from it because of the issues they had in previous versions. 2.0 of the software just came out and It is amazing. Bluetooth is perfect, Ipod perfect, The GUI is so much better than the z3 and has a higher res screen. There are a ton of improvements with it. I will give it a full review here this week. I am installing it this week sometime. It actually looks alot more like the factory H3 navi so it might look even better. A great feature too is that you can change the lights on the unit to match the car. In the case orange. The blue on the z3 bothered to hell out of me. Anyway I will post more info and pics of my install this week.

I couldn't agree more. The unit is very slow, and does not have the clarity of many of the newer units. The only reason I chose the avic-z was for the HD nav and HD music storage. The library recall is very slow, and doesn't really accommodate large volumes of music. The nav is good, but not the best, for what the unit costs.

 

Every time I read the forums and someone posts pics, they come up like the quote and I am unable to view the pics. I am using Firefox as a browser. Do I need a special plug in installed in order the view the pics?

 

Same here. I'm using internet explorer.

 

The photo problem is at the poster's end I would have to say. From that link, we can not get to the photos, it is on their drive, not accessible to us.

 

If you read the threat from the beginning, all of the following posts from the initial one all say, great pics man, but when I read it, only the broken link is available.

Do you think, the pics may have been moved, which later ruined the link?
