my h3 died at stop sign won start HELP
 

hey guys and gals. my h3 wouldnt start when i came out of grocery store. after a minute it it started. then driving home when i came to a stop sign it died and wont start again. it doesnt even turn over and it wont come out of park. there were to indicators that said ABS fail and low fuel. i had just filled up and dont think that has anything to do with it. please someone help me. the delership says they cant get it in till next tuesday. if someone else has ad this problem or know how to fix it please help. thanks

check your battery and battery connections sounds like that might be your culprit

i did that had battery tested all came good. held both positive and negative to reset computer still wont do anything

been trying to find the post that I read acouple of months ago that had a similar problem but can't find it from what I remember it was either a battery problem or a short in the fuse panel.

do you get anything? with key dash lights?

i get a abs fail low fuel. everything else works lights windows radio everything. i found on the colorado forum that the key switch. could that be right? seems like the problems they are having are the same as mine.

I had a similar problem on a trip to Texas. Onstar did their diagnostic thing and said they would have to get me a wrecker.

So, we rode in the cab of a car hauler to a Cadillac dealer in the city of our destination. We arrived at 1:30 AM.

The next morning I called the dealer and the service writer said my ignition was not talking to my security system, and they would put in a new ignition switch. I picked up my baby that afternoon. No problem since.

same thing with the wifes...... her PASS failed one morning and had the same problem. The work order showed the PASS/Ignition module replaced...... all good so far.....
