For the past month or so, the green light on my control panel for the 4LO and 4lock and tow, switches to Neutral with a red light. I manualy push the 4LO button and it returns to 4LO but I don't hear anything or feel anything. It doesn't do it all the time. I could be driving and then within miles it switches to red Neutral. What is the problem. It feels like I have a bad switch I hope.

 

I would try cycling it through all choices several times, and see if that helps.

If not its possible it is a relay that needs replaced.

Have you noticed a dip in your mpg??

 

I'm gonna try the cycling.. I have not noticed anything wrong with the mileage or the power. Runs great. I just hate seeing the red light that turns on sometimes. Thx
