My 2004 hummer h2 has a starting problem. I can turn the engine sometimes it starts. I am thinking its fuel related. Any ideas what it could. I did have a check engine light for evap issue but not sure if that's related?

 

A wild guess would be a fuel pump going bad.

since its in the tank, might as well upgrade the vent on top of tank when you drop it.

 

what tyoe of upgrade?

Another good tip; dont run your tank less than half. It is good to keep the fuel pump under"water". It keeps it cool especially during summer and prolongs the life of the pump. Gf's tahoe has never had to change out the pump and has always kept it half full. Pushing 200,000 miles. Ive changed mine twice in my H2. Yes I learned the hard way
