GO for it!!! It was the first thing I did. My dealer called them paint savers.
I did the same thing and had the dealer install them before I picked it up. I still get some spray on the front of the rear fender flare. It really is a paint saver for sure and don't care how they look if it protects the paint.

i too want them .....of course i called Dew hummer in st.pete and they want 250.00 installed...just across the pond to reeves hummer and they want 150.00 installled...

i am going to get them....tired of the smallest puddle spraying down the whole side of the truck....
I think that is what I paid for them dealer installed....$150.00). They are needed if you live in an area where they apply cinders to the roads in the winter! Those cinders will sand blast your paint without them! That is another reason why I also bought the steprails for paint protection.

I too paid about the same $150 for the dealer to install. I am machanically inclined but a little lazy sometimes and if it worth it I would rather pay to get it done. I did put the tube rails and brush guard on myself and will put the roof rack on when I buy it. Amen on the salt and cinders
