It has 4 clips on the back. The mirror pops off but it's very easy to brake the mirror glass when you remove it.

RE: mirror

When looking in the mirror, push the bottom of the glass into the housing. Thenput a thin rag on the end of a pry bar and put it in at the bottom of the glass. Then carefully pry up wards on the glass and work the glass up out of the retainers. It should slide right out. To install it back. Slide it into the retainers and with your fingers push it into place.

There is a thread on this forum about a mirror with a lit arrow in it. The directions for that show you how to do this.

My mirror shakes with the stock 33's...the whole top half of the unit from the hinge up is loose on mine, I don't see any way to tighten it either. Sounds like most people with this problem are just getting them replaced.

Hey mfish,
It's a known issue at Hummer. There is an up-dated one that should take care of the problem. I just had minereplaced last week. I thought there would be a way to tighten it up also...No such luck....

Changing it out is the only way....
