Mercedes G-Wagon by AMG?
Is the mercedes g-55 made by the same AMG that worked with GM on the H1? What opinions do you have on the G-Wagon. I just thought it was interesting to see AMG associated with a Benz. Does AMG work with a lot of other brands? I was checking our videos on you tube about cars and trucks and saw the G-wagon.

American General (AM General) makes the HMMWV, the base vehicle for the H1. This is an exclusively American company that mostly makes stuff for the US government. AMG is a German company that I believe is a subsidary of Dymlier Benz. They are two different companies.

Ohh, that clears up the confusion. When you google AMG even with the names of the trucks you get all sorts of site. Once a christian ministry popped up in the results. Maybe the reverend owned one of the trucks.

AMG = American Motors General (Military Divison of American Motors) now called American General = AMG for the Hummer
AMG = (engineer) Has Werner Aufrecht + (engineer) Eberhard Melcher + (Town of) GroBospach = AMG for the Mercedes
