Default Marker/tail light tint question

Hey guys,

I'm getting sick of the amber/red marker light combo and want to even things out with a slight tint. Before I do it I wanted to buy LED bulbs so that the light won't be to dim after I have everything in place. I would appreciate if you guys could advise me on which bulbs should I go for. I'm planning on replacing every one except the side markers (don't really feel like breaking them apart to solder in a new LED).

I'm looking to buy the following:
2x front side marker 3157 type
5x roof markers w5w/t10 type amber
5x roof markers w5w/t10 type red
2x reverse lights 3157 white
2x rear signal light 3157 amber
2x stop/park light 3157 red

Use the Sylvania auto bulb guide, just google that and it will give you all the bulb numbers. Those look correct though.

The top roof markers all use 168 style bulbs.

Thanks for the reply Lojac. I do know all the types. The thing is I've had some bad experience with LED bulbs with them being either to long to fit the housing or just too dim for the tint. I wanted to get some info on which LED bulbs in particular people used for their trucks. Sorry if I didn't make myself clear .

Oh got ya, hell I could never remember where I bought all my lights. I know the reverse and lower bumper lights are Ceramic Substrate LED's. That may narrow that search down quite a bit. I also ran those in the brake and turn signals until I swapped those out for full LED lights. Those bulbs are the brightest I have used and still working all these years later.

If I am correct, the side markers are already an LED light

I'm assuming he meant the front turn signals.

Exactly. I've meant the front/rear/roof markers. I've ordered a set of LED bulbs from aliexpress. The shipping usually takes a while but the price/quality is pretty good. I'll let you know how they look once I install them.
