Default lowering hummer h2 to fit into new parking garage

I am borrowing my mom's 2003 H2 Hummer and my work is moving locations to where the parking garage has a lower clearance. I've removed the lights on the top of the vehicle to fit in the current parking garage at my work now. What else could I do to lower my vehicle. I don't care about looks. I don't have the option to buy another car at the moment (as much as I would like to get ri of this Hummer). Thanks.

Trade you for a 1991 Subaru, it's much lower and still 4wd!

Get a new air suspension that allows you to raise and lower the whole vehicle. When you get to the garage, lower the car down. When you leave raise it up. It can give you A LOT of extra clearance. You would just need to get an on-board air compressor with a switch inside to raise and lower it.

Is there an "out of the box" system like this? I know I have the on-board compressor. I just got my H2 and would like to put some slightly larger wheels and tires on it but right now it only fits in my garage with like an inch to spare.

Sorry if this has been answered before. I'm new

Default H2 Suspension

Your H2 should come equipped with an air suspension that allows you to raise and lower the vehicle specifically when your ready to drive off road in it. You should be able to do the same when parking in the garage just don't forget to raise and lower when leaving and entering your garage, respectively.

Of course, that is why u have the switches on the upper console area. There should be three of them. Push the one with the arrow facing down, the vehicle should lower itself. Its the same design similiar to the Range Rover.

You would probably find what you need on the low rider forums.

If you can afford to lower the vehicle you can afford a beater to get back and forth to work in. You can lower vie the tbars a bit but to drop it significantly you will need a lowering kit and new tires which isn't cheap at all.
