Default loud relay under glove box when turning HVAC control from 3 to 4

Does anyone have a LOUD relay under the glove box when adjusting their HVAC blower moter from speed 3 to speed 4????? Mine give a very loud 'click' when going from speed 3 to speed 4 it is pretty silent for all of the other settings. Blower works great; it's just a loud relay. Funny thing is that going back from 4 to 3 isn't quite as loud. Going back and forth from 0 to 3 is really quiet.

Thinking about taking it in after I find out what is involved with the repair. If I grab the relay, I can feel the clicking with my hand when turning the HVAC **** from 3 to 4. Not sure if just the relay can be changed (snap in - snap out) or will they have to tear into the HVAC module assembly. Dont have any squeeks or rattles yet and dont want to cause any by having something torn apart and put back together.

The problems/annoyances that I have had areHARDLY lemon issues, they are just annoyances that I would like to fix, but if not no big deal...I still really like this truck:

-rear leaf springs .... dealership fixed problem (first the left then the right) and I got a free tank of gas each time to boot. Noise was an annoyance and nothing more didn't affect vehicle performance in any way.

- popping body mount .... fixed that one myself. Regardless of the vehicle, sometimes body mounts make noise. Noise was an annoyance and this one did drive me nuts, but I did solve it/figure out the causemyself after a few converstaions with the body mount engineer.

- clicking turn signal stalk .... think I found that one and it may be temp dependant. Again, this one is an annoyance more than a problem.

- clicking relay from 3 to 4 on HVAC .... 4 others that I work with have this annoyance. It may just be a common thing when the current draw increases to power the blower on high. Still looking into it, but again...it is just an annoyance.

I would gladly put up with a couple of annoyances than drive some sissy econo-car (Toyota Priss or that horrible "dumb-for-two" car) or some crappy off-road wannabe FJ. Every car I have ever owned and even some of my (less educated) freinds imports have had some small annoyances that I have taken time to fix. I am pretty good at fixing squeeks and rattles it may take me a while to find it, but when I do, it is fixed for good. I cannot believe that my wifes Satur Vue AWD (2008) has still been squeek/rattle free since we bought it last January. That is one well-built/designed vehicle. Since the new Chevy Equinox is from the same architecture, it should be rock solid.
