Lost key and remote, please help!
 

Hi, I recently got a hummer h3 and accidently lost my keys.

I am currently living in Panama. If someone knows what it the process to get a new key please advice me on what to do. I have read that i need to program the new key and that I need a new remote, but I am not not sure were to start from. Thanks

Jp, I am new to hummers also but I did find out the 03, mine, does not have a chip in the key, so any locksmith should be able to make a key to work, now the remote you could buy from e-bay and there are directions to program it your self.

When you ask a question about an H3....... ask it in the......................

H3 Keys are NOT chipped. If you had the key, any duplicate blank can be cut from that and work, like a cheap Chevy blank.

Otherwise, you need to go to a GM dealer with your Vin# and they can make a key based upon that............. it will cost you though. A good locksmith should be able to do the same, and program a new fob.
