Default Looks Great ~ Less Heavy

In reading earlier posts, decided to go spareless, arming myself with mini-compressor and plug kit, along with free towing service of course.

It does look pretty cool, kind of reminds me of the H2, but I am a "stock" kind of guy and still like the spare on the back.

Glad you like it.

The spare on the back is a signature marking for Hummer, I'll leave mine on. Can't always just fix a flat, like when you tear a hole in a tire with a rock.

That thing on the tailgate is the remaining vent after you remove the spare mount and tire. I made a plate using 16 guage steel plate from Ace Hardware (12"x24") and cut, drilled, and painted it. It isnt very hard to do and it will give your h3 a much more finished look. Use your spare mount to mark the holes and after you bolt on the plate, mark the bottom (so its even with the bottom of the tailgate) and cut it. Test fit, paint and your done!
