Looking into some used 03s...
 

I'm looking into some used 03 H2s and I just wanted to see how reliable these 03s are or if I should look into something a little newer. The ones I have my eye on have between 50-60k miles and in my price range. Any helpful hints would be appreciated thanks

Depends upon your budget. Newer = better, and less things to go wrong. But any Hummer is better than no Hummer.

I would own a '08 if my budget could swing it right now. But for now, I am happy with my '05. '06 seems to be the cut-off for most of the problems.

I loved the 03 I had. It was just as good as my 06

bought my first hummer , an 03 h2 and love it 72000.miles,
have had no problems .
i put new tires , tune up and changed out the air filter with a airaid .
would not change a thing , if i had more money i would buy another one .mike

I bought a used 03 H-2 and love it. I did have a problem with the front transfer case leaking $3500.00 to have all the seals replaced and then the bearing went. That two cost a pretty penny. So I would suggest having a mechanic go over the vehicle if you are not familuar with the H-2.

And if you can buy a warrinty for the vehicle I would buy it.
