Light bar wiring problem

Ok so, while I was waiting for my Plus 1 light bar to come in, I had done the research on where to run the wires, ect... (amazing link that says SEARCH, some people just don't get it) but the light bar came with really detailed instructions anyway. Well after hooking this thing up, I get it all done and flip the switch. Nothing, the light on the switch turns on, but not the light bar. Well the whole time I was putting this thing together I kept thinking it was wierd that it doesn't have a fuse. The light kit I got for my brush guard has a fuse so I figured it would need one. Is the fuse, or lack of one, the problem maybe?

my light bar did not have a fuse either and i have had it for a year and i recently had the hummer in for a remote start and alarm and they saw it and said since its connected to the battery always it would be safe to have a fuse and they added it for no charge for me cause if something happened to the battery it could short out the lights. so u might of shorted it and now the lights wont come on dont no how to test it check if u wired it right.mine had a harness real easy to do and mount

No fuse needed at the battery source for this.

This manufacture uses a fusable link wire on the main power line, no fuse is needed as it is protected. I have installed many and just installed oneon a new H3 on Friday. Call me directly if your have install questions, I would be glad to help you out over the phone with the install.Call 1-866-714-9988 ask for BIG-C, I will be in the office after 10am pacific time on Monday.

Circuitguy can you exlain what a "fusable link wire" is? I have the SMA light bar and there is no fuse either. I'm sure all the wiring is the same between these two light bars. I was going to put one in when it gets warmer but maybe I don't need too. thanks

Well I got it fixed. I broke out my circut tester and found no power at the light plug. Apparently the white wire had came undone by the harness. Maybe it's just me but I think the black and white "A-pillar" wires could be about 6 inches longer. Don't really like to be that cramped under the dash.
