Levelling height with fender flares
 

What is the maximum recommended lift height with OEM fender flares fitted? The Australian H3 comes standard with fender flares. Has anyone ever removed them and measured the distance they protrude down from the lip of the fender? It may not be a precise measurement anyway as they flex up and down up to 1/2 inch. Are they easy to remove and replace after levelling without busting any of the poxy plastic clips?
