Leveling H3

I just purchased a 2010 H3 SUV Alpha Edition.

Can anyone tell me how to level my H3?

I want to run 33's (KM2) and lower the rear 1.5 inches to level the truck.

Thank you.

You don't lower the rear, you raise the front....

I leveled my rear by keeping survival supplies in it. This is a H3 that is ONLY used off road and I mean scary off road. Not in the sense I jump it or abuse it in any way which I don't but scary because where we go you will not see another vehicle for months. I often have to trim over growth from the "trail" and many times there is no trail. We carry a minimum of 14 gallons of water (temperatures get to 105 easy) , lots of tools,50 to 75 lbs of tire chains, spare battery, food and other parts. Everything is in a heavy and large "lock box". This all seems to have leveled her out. I am using 35" tires on stock rims (BFG MT tire) and never touched the front bars.

I've attached an image of what I have been driving for the last 3 years. Why doesn't anyone want me to go 33's this time and take an inch out of the rear? I guess it'll have to be 35s again.

I was in CO, but now CA.

My new H3 is an alpha offroad lux.

Do those 35' rub? I think 33's would look perfect on an leveled out h3.

It's my opinion that leveled H3's look perfect with 35's. :D

I don't think anyone can argue with you about that! Perfect with 35's!

justin - no rubbing. there was some rubbing on the flares before i trimmed them. but, without the flares no rubbing. i had the sway bar rub when i first got the tires and mounted them on the stock rims. the american racing teflon chamber wheels are 4.5 backspacing vs the stock wheel 5.5 inches. the front of my truck in the picture was cranked to 24.25 inches... with samco shackles on the rear.

35's look good, but they were definitely wearing some stuff out over 3 years.

...attached a better picture showing the front tire clearance.

Raise the front to 24.5" and go with 35"s
