Just broufgt a h2 2007 w/13,000 miles. It's black. Need advice on washing this vehicle. Especially the roof - using a ladder is to clumsy - i'm 6-2 and still can't reach far enough. How would you wax roof?

If you don't want to use the ladder like you clearly stated, then I would suggest finding a Truck Wash. They have built in racks with scaffolding to wash the tractors and trailers.

They are usually a flat price and you don't have to keep feeding quarters.
