Largest wheel/ tire size for H2

Hey all,
Just wondering about getting a new set of wheel and tires for my H2 and wanted to know.... without a lift kit.... what is the largest size tires and wheels able to fit on the H2?

For the wheels, I am looking at staying in a 17 or maybe an 18 inch wheel.
The width depends on how wide I can go.
The offset depends on how well it looks while not throwing off the wear of the tire.

For the tires, I would like to go as wide and as tall as I can without rubbing or any kinds of issues.

I am looking to give it a nice 4x4 look with some meat on it, while not jacking her up and changing the suspension.

Pictures would be great to see too
Thanks

I'm wondering the same thing. I don't need new tires yet, but I'm looking around already. Will a 37x13.5x17 fit without doing anything with the front torsion bar?

Why will you go a bit smaller next time? Do they chip the side of the H2? Loss of power? Worse gas mileage?

See my post "new shoes and meat for my beast" on here from yesterday....put 20x9 Moto Metal 960's on with Toyo Open Country M/Ts @ 37x13.50x20 size..... pulled my inner fender flares back and am having no rubbing issues as of yet....just put mine on day before yesterday.... only did the Torsion bar keys lift (about an extra 1 1/2 inch lift) and it turned out great in my opinion...very happy with the set up now :D

two main reasons.
Those big puppies are expensive.
I will be switching to 325/70/17 which will cost me $100 less per tire

2nd. I like the looks better I think when they are just a little smaller.
Maybe I will change my mind in the fall when I will need new shoes.
