Land Between The Lakes -- 6/25 - 6/27

A friend, my sister and her husband, and my family enjoyed a weekend at Land Between the Lakes in western Kentucky. Had a great time and hit some nice trails. Turkey Bay OHV park is also located at LBL, however I did not have a chance to make it there. These pics are from the FS roads that we cruised around on enjoying the scenery. Nothing technical on the trails we hit with the exception of one road (322???) which had some gooey spots and some interesting ruts to navigate. Did not get a lot of pics to post here, however it's definitely worth the trip if you're in the area. There's a lot to do, so it's a very nice place to get a nice mix of wheeling, camping, and family time all in one place.

First two pics are some clips from the limited video I got. First is of me coming back through a little mud hole after taking a wrong turn. Oops. Second is of the lift some idiot left on the trail with the forks about head high. I assume it was loggers, but I would have thought they could have parked it off to the side. Next two pics are elk and bison from the reserve there. Last two pics are credited to THORparts.com . Killer truck!

Fun place to go and lots of awesome trails there. I'm originally from Eddyville, so that is my old stomping grounds. Post up the next time you guys are headed that way, and I may try to tag along.

That's cool. We stopped in Eddyville for last minute supplies for the weekend. We only scratched the surface of the cool trails, I'm sure.
