Kumho Road Venture KL71's

Hey about to buy these for my stock 2008 wheels has anyone used these before? I'm liking the look an the reviews I've read seem to be pretty good for the price. If anyone has pics of there H3 with them I'd be ecstatic to see. Just looking for this specific forums opinion, thanks for the help.:)

P.S. I'm looking at the 315/75R/16's

TAINTER 02-22-2012 11:02 PM

-They are a directional tire (no cross rotation without tire removal).
-They wear fast on heavy vehicles.
-They look cool.
-Kumho Tire USA, Inc. is owned by the Samyang Tire Co., Ltd.of Korea
-315/75R16 weighs 78.5lbs ea
-315/75R16 Load Range E
-Starting tread depth is 18/32nds (shallow for an M/T)

After purchacing many many different brands and models of ATs and MTs throughout my lifetime I have found that you really get what you pay for when it comes down to it (ride, treadlife, roundness, OffRoad ability, Etc.)

Ain't no way, never ever, would I put Korean, Japanese, Chinese or other foreign tires on my truck.

Putting aside all nationality preferences, I would say they are good tires. I had a previous version of this tire model on a '94 full size blazer for three years before I sold the truck. They were good tires. The lugs were a little squirmy in fast corners, but after a couple of months they settled in. They also had good cleanout in high clay content soils. Now having said all of that, this current version looks a little more refined than the one I had.

I have them in 285. they are wearing really well, look right and in 285 are perfect for the street.

Yea the nationality comment I was expecting, and I agree unfortunately money always comes into play an for the price these seem like the best buy. But thanks for the help guys I appreciate it.
