When I turn the wheel or sometimes back up, go over speed bumps etc I hear a knocking sound under the truck.....

Anyonever experience this and if so what is it tba is happening? Thanks

If you find out the problem please pass me some info. I have a popping sound on the driver side of my '04, front end. Sometimes has a bit of a squeel, only when I turn, could be a related issue...? Just looking for answers. Thanks much.

 

If it squeels when turning right because the weight transfer to the driver side when turning it could possibly be the outside cv joint or wheel bearing.

 

hmmm, interesting. I had the bearings on the passenger side replaced a year ago so that would make sense but it wasn't squeeling so I didn't think about that...thanks luda81

 

Dealer picked her up this morning for an oil change and diagnosis...wheel bearings - again. $860 fix. Kuuuchow! Not a happy camper.
