this is the 2008 KITT car for the new series. i can't believe they made it a FORD.. what a joke. Kitt is a trans am, BOTTOM line, thats it.. anything else is a sin.
but, they love to take things that were great and blow them out of the water i guess..

the final car doesn't ave the wing from what I have seen on commercials...unless maybe it only comes out when mach speed is hit or something...and using a Trans am would be difficult as they don't make them anymore

Wanna hear the funny part? The guy who did the voiceovers for the new series also does voiceovers for GM Truck commercials, so GM told him there is a conflict of interest since KITT is now a Ford, and forced him to give up doing the voiceovers for the new KITT.
GM did this two weeks before the series starts, next Sunday.
Guess who the NEW voice of KITT is?

This is going to be interesting
And bluezgo, I have all of the circuity coming tomorrow morning to build the custom sound sample controller box that will be linked to the lights. Whenever the strobe moved back and forth, it will make the sound from the original Knight Rider KITT. It's going to have a marine amplified speaker under the hood connected to this circuit I'm building that will produce the sampled sounds.
I'm going to have another programmable sound sample available on the chip, so I haven't decided yet what I'm going to use it for. I was going to have it talk when you open the door, but I'm not sure yet. I was thinking about the theme music thing, but I think that might be a little overkill. Hell the whole thing is overkill the way it is, but even if people buy the lights, they wont have the sound effects

If only you still had it. The possibilities are endless
Honestly, I think the new show is going to flop, but that doesn't mean I can't like it
I don't think a talking car is going to be popular this day and age, when people have talking cars already, ie: Bluetooth and On-Star
Although I would give my left arm to see that car in person. Oh the dream.
