Has anyone had a problem with deactivating the alarm and unlocking the door by the key fob and having the horn start going off when opening the door? This has just started and I am baffled. It doesn't happen all the time.

 

you used the remote keyless right?
if you open with the "key" it will alarm. it thinks you broke in!
the computer does not know when the key is used so it assumes a breakin.

 

Yes I am using the factory remote to disarm and lights flash showing disarm along with doors unlock. But then sometimes when I or a passenger open the door it starts honking. I have even had it start honking after turning the ignition off and start to exit the vehicle.

 

must be the key sensor stuff? in the ign sw assm. a guess
