Key will not turn in ignition switch
 

So, I wake up this morning and get ready for work, got into the Hummer and put the key in the switch but can't turn the key to start the truck. I have done all the normal things like turning the wheel, and jiggling the key but nothing! How the hell does this just suddenly happen? I missed a day of work for a bad switch. Now looking to see if anyone else has had this happen to them. Mine is a 2003???

The wife use to always pull the wheel height adjustment and let the wheel slam into the up position and jam the key, so after i fiddled with the wheel adjustment i was able to get mine to start again and bye the way she does not let the wheel slam back into the up position anymore after my tyrant lol........... You can give it a try

badss98, I have tried everything I possibly could to try and reset the brains if you will, I even disconnected the Battery for a while and reconnected and still cannot turn the key.
