Keeping any extra car parts when off-roading....
It all depends on how hard your driving offroad, It is always a good idea if your going far from any civilization. Normally I don't carry any parts when I'm wheelin' in NJ/PA and at any Hummer Club events. But when I go out to places like Moab I will carry some tie-rods and tools.
I carry a black trunk full of offroad goodies... anything from an extra jacket, flashlights, tie rods, shovel, shackles, wire splices, basic hand tools, etc...
I carry a couple of half shafts, tie rods, ball joints, pitman/idler arm etc. plus just the tools needed to change those things. Usually people on the trail will help fix what breaks but you should be able to do it yourself.
I dont know how to fix those types of things, but I do know how to pay for it lol. Any h3's been up to "Lions Back" if so how did it handle? How was the view?
