I have enterend my working dog into a photo contest in hopes of winning a coupon from the company sponsoring it. I submitted a photo of her when she was a puppy at only 8 weeks old. I would appreciate it if any forum members could go and place a vote for my pup. It is listed as follows:

You do realize this is exactly what you are NOT supposed to do on a forum. NEVER post a "Come on over to some other site and vote for me" fishing thread. I mean NEVER. This is what spam fishers do. Yeah, you might be naive and had good intentions, but it is a basic universal forum rule. NO FISHING ALLOWED.

You want people to know about your contest, put it on your Facebook and ask your friends and family, not here asking our members.

 

First off I do not and never will have a Facebook page due to the security concerns of my present occupation.

Secondly I understand your concerns but yours is the first and only complaint I have gotten about putting up posts to benefit Military / Law Enforcement K-9's. I have posted similer posts on numerous other forums and have only received extremely positive feedback.

There is an upcoming fund raiser that is being started on another site to raise funds and awareness for K-9 ballistic vests for small agencies that can't otherwise afford them.

Once it is up and running I was thinking about mentioning it on this forum but now I am having second thoughts. I would like to get a little insight if other forum members would be interested in this information or not? I am not fishing, just trying to spread the word and raise awareness about the needs of some agencies for K-9 equipment.
