just wondering
do you all think that some of these mechanical problems that are happening are do to driving style. I have a taxi business and i always give the good drivers the good cars and the bad ones the worn out ones because i believe in this theory, for instance when reversing not comming to a full stop before going forward and hitting the brakes at the last second rather than gradually slowing down at the lights. cold starting slaming it in gear and driving away before all the dash lights go out, ect. ect. ect.
hard to say, but i wouldn't think so. when you pay what most people paid for their vehicles, you tend to treat it with at least some respect. and most new cars are pretty idiot proof, sensors that won't allow it into a reverse gear immediately, brains to reduce engine power if something is breaking down, etc. i'd think it's more a result of new designs and not being able to find every possible bug that could be there. think of it as a new windows OS, with far more forethought put into the design and de-bugging.
