Just Picked Up a 2009 H3
 

Just picked up a new 2009 H3 late February. Traded in a 2006 with 35,000 miles. Man we were so glad to get rid of that 2006. 500th VIN off the line. It was real lemon.

Here's the deal we got. $39,200 Sticker price. $2,700 off the MSRP. $6500 rebate. $3300 GM card rebate. $16,250 trade-in. Had the cab marker lights installed too.

Ended up writing the dealer a check for just a little under $12,000. Don't know if we got a good deal or not but we were so glad to get rid of the '06. Had so many problems. :D

Transfer case was never filled to the new procedure. I checked it myself. Had to add 250 ml just to get it up to the plug hole and then another 250ml to get to the speedo cable hole. Really ticked me off. Head was replaced at 13,000 miles, had two radios, bad battery, etc etc. Lots of oil leaks when we traded it in.

I think the H3 is one of the best designs out of GM in years (not including the start up quality issues)......:)

The new 2009 is having wind vibration noises with the cab marker lights. After 3 or 4 years one would of thought they would have had this fixed by now. Bummer. :mad:

Yes it's an Adventure. Also has a sunroof which I would have gladly traded for the rear view camera. Searched high and low for an Adventure with the backup cam but couldn't find one anywhere. I'll post some pics when it stops raining around here....

Congratulations Jimmie! I just picked one up a couple weeks ago. I like it so far. I'm glad to hear someone liked theirs so much they bought a new one.

Congrats on your new H3 you'll be fine alot of bugs have been worked out since #500 LOL
I too traded in my 06 H3 Adventure (with off road lights on the roof which made noise.) for a 09 H3X btw both of mine were black too.

Here is the '06 we traded. It was spotless....

I believe you are right (hope so anyway). I haven't found any defects yet and hopefully won't.
