so i got under my 06 today and cranked the torsion bolts. took 1.5 turns on the passenger side and a few more on the drivers side. i drove it around the block and checked it and made minor adjustments. im sitting at 23.75" now and i plan to get it aligned this week. ive searched for an hour and cant find answers on alignment stuff. i dont want to have the shop crank on the torsion bars cause they think they "need" to to set the alignment. can they get it in specs without touching my torsion bars? i wanna get it aligned, recheck it in a week or so and adjust as needed.... im getting a lifetime alignment package so i can get it checked whenever. i just wanna make sure a qualified tech can do it right without messing with my height...

 

they shouldn't have to touch your torsion bars to aligne it, if they do they don't know what they're doing

 

is there any reason they shouldnt be able to set everything to the correct specs?

 

no you should be fine. I leveled mine two weeks ago and had no problems getting it aligned
