I've been a member for a couple days and wanted to post a thread get some opinions on some ideas I have for my H3.
I'm about to put a semi gloss liner such as Linex on the chrome handles, mirrors, and brush guard. The thing i cannot decide is if i want to do it to my grill too. Several of my buddies have been doing their best to talk me into it, but I was going to see if anybody else has done something like this with a Boulder Gray H3 yet. If so I would like to see pictures. This is as far as I've got on my truck right now (if the picture shows up). I also just got a quote on some 315/75-16 Nitto Mud Grapplers and it's a GREAT deal from mrwheeldeal.com. They hooked me up with my wheels and now I really want these tires to go with them. I've heard mixed things on these tires and was also wondering if anybody was riding these. The number one concern is tread life, next noise level, and should I go with a narrower tire? |
Welcome man!
That is a good looking truck. A lot of us are running that tire size and are very happy with them! If you want to see a good, customized boulder grey H3, check this out (paladine71's truck): Hummer Forums - Enthusiast Forum for Hummer Owners - Garage Portal More pictures of his truck: https://www.hummerforums.com/forum/m...al-alpha-1032/ |
Here is another good example: Hummer Forums - Enthusiast Forum for Hummer Owners - xllkoyokollx's Album: Exterior
He also line-x'd his lower doors and fenders... |
Thanks! I definitely am sold on the black grill now! I'm getting it done Tuesday morning. I will be sure to post pics as soon as I can.

CBphoto also has his grill coated and it looks great on the silver/grey H3/H3Ts.
Attachment 15674 Attachment 15675 On the Nitto Nitto Mud Grapplers . They are Very Heavy and Very Loud. I am not sure about tread life but a little research on offroaders.com might help you with your decision. Hummeron37s has them on his H2. Hope he chimes in on this one. |
In regards to the tire, also do some research on Mickey Thompson MTZ's and Dick Cepek Mud Countries. The reviews on both are much better than on the Nitto's.

Will do! I appreciate all the replies.

I have also been wondering about the spare. Will a 35 inch tire fit without interfering with the bumper?
