Just Installed an AUX input on my H3 (QUESTION)

So I was totally sick of my Sirius and Ipod running of FM transmitters. I was looking at LOG Jam Electronics and I went with a PIE GM12-AUXV2 (I was at first looking at the IPOD compatible one The Neucleus NC-X2i, but the wife got me a TOMTOM 910 for xmas and I can plug the pod into it) The install was a breeze. It was all plug and play except for the 12+ and ground lines. I saw behind the radio there was a big bolt going to some bracket. I loosened it up and attached the ground to it. As for the 12+ I was looking around and I saw above the break pedal there was some wire ( for towing I guess) not hooked to anything so I used the red one marked 12+ Put a nut cap on it and called it good.

The AUX adapter has only one input to I put a Y splitter on it and hooked up the TOMTOM and Sirius to it and WOW!!! what a difference MUCH better sound!

One question I need to run the power cords for there 2 things down through the dash. Where can I splice into som 12+ for them. Any one have a suggestion?

if you want to run a wire from below the steering column to behind the radio you can use this wire, very easy to find and plenty of room to work

Attachment 24731

This would be your best bet because you will at least have the wire back there in case you want to add more to it in the future.
