Just Got It Back From The Dealer
 

I took it back to Sewell Hummer in Dallas so they could add the tint on the front 2 windows. [8D] Then they detailed it again, inside and out, and dropped in the mats, etc. They even painted a new hood and put it on there when they found a tiny dent in it we couldn't see the night before at purchase time. The base model they gave me to drive for 2 days was nice, but having only had the new one in my posession for only 12 hrs. after I bought it, I couldn't wait to get it back.

I have to say, top-notch, old-fashioned no pressure sales and service was given to me by Randy Reed at Sewell Hummer. Before walking in I didn't know this guy from Adam, as they say, and when I left it honestly felt like I had met a friend who shared the same excitement for the Hummer brand as all of us do. Best car-buying experience I've ever had...hands down. I shouldn't be all that surprised though, Sewell wrote the book on customer service...literally. One member of the Sewell family (Carl, if I remember correctly, the founder, I believe) wrote this book: available at Amazon.

If any Dallas area folks wanna buy, go to Sewell, you'll be treated right. Tell Randy that Justin Broderick sent you. He told me to tell yall that...

You are SO RIGHT...If the dealer gives you INCREDIBLE SERVICE, there is no reason for you to EVER go anywhere else!!

just got mine back from the dealer last night - now my upper control arms are cleaner than Dennis's [sm=bounceybounce.gif] until this saturday anyway [sm=happybounce.gif]. . . .

Yeah I've seen those pics...he sets the bar pretty high...or the control arm in this case...but I think will inevitable take on a Mississippi Mud tone...with the fragrance of East Texas Pine

Nah...no mud or xfer case usage til he's broken in and over 500 on the speedo. He's at 265 right now. Today was the first time the rain fell on it...now I see why it's hard to keep a black truck clean. I don't mind it so much though. It had to come sometime...
