A Jeep experience today
I work next door to the Chrysler World Headquarters building, so I encounter endless Jeeps to and from work each day. This morning we had our first taste of Winter here in Michigan, so I was driving cautiously on my way in. Some a$$ in a Jeep Laredo was tailgating me for a couple of miles. We turned onto a divided highway and he thought he'd play games. I got on it, my Magnaflos roared, and I left him wondering what the hell just happened. I think he was under the impression that all H3's had 1 cylinder per 1000 lbs. of weight. Made my day!

Great little story for a morning chuckle! I have a friend with a Jeep Grand Cherokee. He was pretty flabergasted when he got his first ride in our Alpha (before the supercharger). He's a "new car" kinda guy, but I wouldn't be too shocked to see him in a Hummer before long.
Interesting that the Jeep has such a bad rap. My bride is on her second Grand Cherokee which is now over five years old and completely trouble free other than the crappy Michelin tires we had replaced. My H3 Championship Edition is gone, and I must say, I do miss that vehicle. It was one of the best I've owned. But, it too had mechanical issues and was in the shop multiple times over 100,000 miles for front wheel bearings, faded external trim parts, strange electrical issues etc. I repaired the leaky sunroof myself. My latest vehicle is a Rubicon 392 with the Recon package, and it is awesome. In summary, all of them have their attributes and their issues. None are perfect.

My rear light has been working perfect! Tailgaters back off or change lanes when I tap the brake pedal.
