Issue

I have an 06' H3, and today when I was backing out of a parking space at Wal-Mart I applied a little gas, and the engine reved like usual (No problem there), But then I let the gas pedal go and it died  Any idea what it could be? I am thinking it could be the timing but not 100% sure.

and then?

still dead? is it ok now? is the story over?

Well, it started right back up, after I put it in park and turned the key, other than me backing out it never happens. Confused as to what is causing it.

How many miles on it, and when was the last time the Throttle Body was cleaned?

It could have also just been a random PCM brain fart and may never happen again.

It has 171135 Miles, and as for the throttle body, I am not sure when it was last cleaned.

Then I would plan on cleaning the TB, feel free to search here there are a number of good threads on how to do it. Main thing, use TB cleaner ONLY, go buy a can at the auto parts. Might want to get some MAF cleaner while you are at it since you probably have no idea when that was last cleaned either. Those are both clean at every 30-50k miles.

Will do, I also found out today while I was at the dealership that my serpentine belt is cracked (got it replaced though) but is it possible that was an issue as well?
