Allows you to play music through the standard radio and control the ipod/iPhone through the radio buttons. Was installed in the 2010 H3 I bought and I tested it before I removed it, works great (I'm just not an iPhone music guy). Doesn't look great, the unit label is faded and the lightning adapter outer jacket is a bit frayed, neither affects operation. I don't have instructions but I found them online when I was testing it. Basically plug it in, push band selector until it says ipod (or something like that) and use radio buttons to select songs and/or playlists. I'm pretty sure it charges the device as well but I didn't test that.
