iPod Interface with Text Display (Navigation)
 

Just wanted to let all of you know that I successfully installed the USA-SPEC PA-11VETTE iPod interface into my 2010 H3T with Nav and XM. Seems to work flawlessly so far. It takes over the XM1, leaving XM2 for XM radio. It also displays the Artist/Song title on the nav unit. I also tried using it with my iPhone 3GS and it worked perfectly (including charging the phone)

If anyone is trying to install this unit, it connects to the XM interface which is behind and above the glove box. There is a little panel behind the glove box that looks like it is part of the dash. Put your finger in the hole and pull it down. This will reveal the XM tuner labeled as DELPHI. Total install time: 30-45 minutes. Ran the cord to the center console.

I installed GM's PAL recently and the dang thing doesn't charge my iPhone. Didn't see this prior to ordering the part but went ahead w/ the install anyway.

The PAL appears to work the same way as the PA11 - any thoughts on simply swapping out the PAL box for the PA11?
