I'm visiting my bro in New Zealand and have been thinking of relocating at some point in time here myself. I see that NZ just got a few dealerships, plus there are Holden dealerships all over and some SAAB dealerships. Does anyone know or have experience of warranty coverage in a country where their vehicle was not purchased? I've got about 25k miles left on base warranty plus the certified pre-owned warranty.

 

Hey, my Hummer was originally from the USA and then was imported to Canada. GM Canada and my local Hummer dealer both said the same thing about the warranty. As long as the Hummer was previously registered in its original country (USA) and has at least 7500 miles on it, the warranty is valid in Canada.

I have had it to my local dealer for an oil change and they told me the same thing. They didn't want to inspect it or anything. No warranty transfer charge....nothing. Just said I was covered and good to go.

Don't know if this applies to your situation, but this was my experience.
