I see no one replied to your issue. Par for the course it seems on this site from what I have read. I have similar issues on my '04 H2. How did you fix yours??

Default cluster off

did you first push the button on your steering wheel to see if you inadvertently turned your odometer off. Or is it that your backlights are not bworking??

Sometimes the cluster won't come on until several miles down the road. Lights, gauges, etc not working at all. Nothing.

personally i'd pull it out and clean the connector terminals off and see if that helps.

^that's a good suggestion, at the same time any GM vehicles running these clusters have a huge history of them going to hell at the drop of a hat. Anything from not working at all to the stepper motors going out. Hopefully its something small and you can get it working again as opposed to buying a new or refurb cluster.

GM instrument panels are nototious for clusters doing out. It is the stepper motors. Same thing happened on my Silverado truck. It was a breeze to pull out, and I send my cluster to digital dash solutions for a rebuild.

Mine started intermittent, then it would turn on a few miles down the road, then one day, nothing. No speedo, no fuel level, amps, nothing and it never turned back on, so I got it rebuilt.
