Hey all,
I have a 2007 H3 with a 3.7 liter 5cyl just over 100k miles that is giving me some idle issues. The idle is kind of rough, and when I throttle up in park then let off the rpms will drop down to almost stall, about 200 rpms and then surge up to a grand before settling back to 700. I experience stumbling when I come to a stop as well. No codes, nothing on the DIC, no check engine light, I even put it in the shop and they said they could not "re-create the problem" even though I experience it every time I drive it. Air filter is clean, cleaned the TPS and the MAF, plugs and wires are good, yet the problem persists. If anyone else has or has had this issue I sure would appreciate some insight. Other than this issue the truck drives great.

 

Sounds exactly like the same problem when I bought my 2007 H3. I did some reading on this forum and cleaned the MAF and the throttle body and everything is fine now. Search cleaning the throttle body on here and on youtube. There is plenty of information available and it's really quite easy to do. Takes about 30 minutes.
