You know how many other modules are in the truck that are all actively communicate w/ it? If thats the case your going to have to pull alot more fuses than that. I've never had any problems w/ my hypertech.

Driver door, pass door, Instrument panel cluster, Airbag module, BCM, Radio, Bose amp, HVAC controller, onstar module, air suspension, generator battery control module....name a few off the top of my head.

There is a converter box you plug inline w/ your tranny that will set any ratio you could ever need. Its about $175.

thanks for the link, i have to buy one of those so i can finally get it right. I was pretty bummed when i got my super chip and couldnt adjust it far enough. I was told that it went to 55s so on a recommendation i purchased it.

other than the tire size though, the tuner has been great. plug it into the obd-2 port and turn the key on, choose the tune and parameters, send it to the ecu, let it do its thing with the reflash, turn the key off. it takes less than 5 minutes start to finish so its pretty nice to switch to something like tow mode when needed.

but you dont get to utilize the tune and shift points throughout the whole power band and such when using the button on the dash.

the button just takes it out of OD, the tuner keeps all of your settings for the mods you have and gives you a performance tune to go along with the shift points and taking it out of OD.
