Arrow Husbands Christmas Gift

Hi Everyone,

OK so Im very overwhelmed right now. My husband has been saying for over a year not that he wants to upgrade his 2006 H2 radio with something that has all the bells and whistles. Also that he wants to new sound system too. WELL I know nothing about this stuff and I've been searching around all day for info and I've found plenty but its all jibberish to me.

So should I just take it some place and have them recommend what I should get or can any of you give me whats best to purchase. My DH has always worked on all his vehicle systems so I know he can hook it all up himself. I just need to know whats best and everything I will need to purchase so he can hook it up right after Christmas.

Thanks so much!

what kind of budget are ou looking at? that will really determine the depth of which you can go. also, does he want

DVD in front
DVD in the rear seats
GPS mapping
Bluetooth capability
iPod and/or thumb drive application
really loud, obnoxious, high end sound
or clean quality sound

Also, does he just want a new head unit or does he want a whole new system with door speaker and subs in the back?

You might also go to Crutchfield.com. You can pick the vehicle you have and it will list the units that will work in your vehicle. Crutchfield also includes the wiring harness and any kit required to install the unit in your vehicle.

One thing to add to BLACKH3T's post. Crutchfield.com, or as most people call them "crookfield", is a good place to shop for what you want and find out what you need, but I wouldn't buy from them.
