I am thinking about ordering them from Ebay...Cheesy or not?

I think you will find most people here really like them, and they are a cheap way to add a sharp look to your truck!

 

I put them on mine and think that they look nice and show that little extra "attention to detail". The 3m tape backing that they come with is a little weak, so I used some aquarium type clear automotive glue stuff to really make them stick

 

You should buy them, I think it makes the HUMMER stand out. I didn't like the orginal look of them just being pressed into the bumper. Also, if you get the roof rails add the letters to them as well.

 

I don't have them and the jury is still out as to whether I want them (maybe because I am staying black??)...but I must say I like them on all the ride pics I have seen here and they do add something.

 

Highly suggested to get them. I am kinda like LawWyfe where I like things more black than chromed but the letters are stainless steel and not quite as flashy while adding a touch that should of been there from the factory. I also added the stainless steel mini grill, applies with 3M tape over the existing one. Bought all the items off eBay and it took about 10 minutes to install everything -

You have to be carefull when purchasing then, there are two kinds, one is a real nice chrome and the other is a not so nice stainless steel. The SS isn't to bad but IMHO the chrome look a lot better.

 

Can you really tell a big difference between the chrome and the steel? I just ordered the stainless steel and may attempt to cancel if so.
