I am just wondering what head units were FACTORY fitted to the H3 Hummers??

These vehicles are not common around here, and I have never seen too many others.

This is what is in my 2007 H3. Six disk in dash CD AM/FM Radio. Does not have XM or any AUX inputs.



Please post photos of yours.

Also are there any AUX inputs that will connect to my head unit??

Would love to be able to plug an iPhone or MP3 player into it.

 

This is the same head that I have in my 2008 H3 Luxury... It does in fact have a sirius/xm input, its already in the head... Just press the "BAND" button, you'll have FM1, FM2, AM, then XM... You'd just have to get your service switched over, or start a new line of service. I actually just did this yesterday to mine... You loose some things as apposed a a "mobile" satellite unit, but you also dont have all the wires and an extra device hanging around...

As for AUX inputs, I haven't found any... But I'm sure there's a way to tap into the factory wiring if you're really wanting it...

As for other heads, I think there is just this one and the NAV head with the touch screen...

Surprised that no other forum members have head units fitted, I would have thought there would have been plenty of photos posted up by now.

Thanks for the info, and photo 911Boulder, yours looks just like mine, so will check about the band button, not near my H3 at the moment as I am working away till the week end.
